Purpose:

It is our heart’s desire to come beside parent(s) in loving their children by teaching them the Word of God.  In 2 Tim 3:15 Paul writes to Timothy “and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”  It is our prayer that God uses us to teach children in a manner that is easy for them to understand the Word and then to apply it in their lives so that their faith in Jesus Christ grows.

Objectives:

We want each child that we have the privilege to teach, to grow in the grace and knowledge of:

1. Jesus Christ

Who loves them so much that God sent his Son, Jesus to die on the cross and He rose again to give a hope for eternal life with Him in Heaven;  (John 3:16)

1. His Word

If they hide His Word in their hearts they might not sin against Him.  (Psalm 119:11)

1. Worship

Praising the Lord, how good it is to sing praises to our God.  (Psalm 147:1)

1. Prayer

Knowing they can go straight to God in prayer and He will hear them.  (Matthew 21:22, Hebrews 4:16; Philippians 4:6)

Safety:

We are very protective of the children whose parents and God has entrusted us. Each teacher/helper is screened prior to allowing them to be a part of the Children’s Ministry.  In addition, we have other measures implemented to ensure the safety of the children.

Workers:

God has imparted to all our workers a love for children and we look forward to sharing what God has given us to those who visit the Children’s Ministry.
